Four steps, at your pace

-
01 Consultation
An Ayurvedic doctor listens to your history, examines your pulse, tongue and constitution, and asks what you would like to change.
-
02 A plan you understand
Diet, daily routine and, where appropriate, hands-on therapies. Nothing is prescribed that has not been explained.
-
03 Treatment, unhurried
Therapies are given in private by trained therapists. Warm oil, steam and time. The doctor reviews your progress as you go.
-
04 Aftercare and follow-up
Rest guidance, food guidance and a review appointment, so what you gained carries into daily life.
The name
Samatvam
sa·mat·vam
A Sanskrit word for evenness: equanimity, balance. We chose it because it describes what Ayurvedic care is for: not chasing a quick fix, but bringing body, mind and daily habits back to a steady middle.
Our storyWhat we stand for
Ayurveda practised as medicine, not as a spa menu
-
Doctor-led
Every plan is written by a qualified Ayurvedic physician after a consultation, never by a menu.
-
Qualified practitioners
Consultations are with qualified Ayurvedic doctors, and therapies are given by trained therapists working to the doctor's plan.
-
Private and unhurried
Therapies are given one patient at a time, in private, so a session is never shared or rushed.
-
Honest expectations
Ayurveda works with your body over time. We say what it may support and what it cannot, before you commit.
Questions
Before you visit
If your question is not here, ask us before you book. There is no obligation.
Do I need a consultation before a therapy?
Yes. Every therapy at Samatvam is planned by an Ayurvedic doctor after a consultation, so that it suits your health, your medicines and your goals.
Can I continue my regular medicines?
Tell the doctor about every medicine and supplement you take. Do not stop or change a prescribed medicine without speaking to the doctor who prescribed it.
